APClips welcomes Rae Threat to their creator outreach team! Threat will be heading-up a variety of initiatives to help familiarize more creators with the 8 year-old indie clips platform which has long offered a more personal touch, as well as notably higher payouts to creators than the big corporate platforms like MV and C4S.
Rae Threat is an internationally exhibited and published artist that loves working with and showcasing adult performers in mainstream media projects and as a queer advocate, has been published in Duke University Press’ Trans Studies Quarterly documenting my work with trans performers and was apart of the grant making committee and a member of the BIPOC Adult Industry Collective (https://www.bipoc-collective.org/)
Threat will be joining APClips Community Ambassador and award winning cosplayer Kit Kendall in the effort to get the word out about APClips, as well as leading APClips’ presence at events and conferences like the upcoming XBiz Miami Creator Awards. Threat will also be leading up the new creator-focused APClips podcast and curating featured interviews and articles right here on the AmateurPorn. com Blog. Rae will also be running the new @APCreatorTeam Twitter (“X”) account in her creator outreach efforts.
When asked about the news by an XBIZ reporter, Threat told XBIZ … “I love working with indie platforms and creators, so it was a very natural progression to want to work with AP Clips, a platform that’s actually made for creators by creators and has a higher payout rate than those other big corporate-owned clip platforms. Most of my adult work has also been with a lot of queer and indie creators/studios, so it really was a natural progression. I’m excited to see where this goes! ”
APClips’ Founder & CEO Gavin Lloyd had this to say …
“So many people in our industry know and love Rae from her work behind the camera and as an advocate with deep involvement in the indie scene, and it just seemed like a natural fit at the perfect time. Plus, i’ve known Rae for years, we have tons of mutual friends, and it already feels pretty hand in glove to me. Perhaps most importantly, Rae exudes the bootstrapping independent hustling spirit which our humble little platform is known for. When I ran into Rae at XBiz LA this year, I asked if she could help get some of our APClips hoodies out during X3, and after seeing her in action for 10 minutes, i offered her the job on the spot! She is an absolute dynamo and exudes such amazing energy!”
Be sure to keep an eye out for Rae at upcoming shows and events.
